Career & Net worth
The popular scientist had started his career in 1966 with giving a theorem of singularity. This theorem includes the universe theory for starts a singularity. He also participated in the Gravity Research Foundation competition in 1968 and his research was one of the runner-up researches in the competition.
He gives a theory of relativity, but everyone thoughts that this is the useless theory but he was full of confidence in his theory so he gave the strong proof of his theory of relativity has obeyed the universe and this theory fits in every model. He accepted the fellowship for Distinction of science in the year 1969.
In the year 1970, Stephen makes his legend invention of “law of black hole dynamics”. He said that black holes’ horizon can never get smaller. He works with the famous physicists James M. Bardeen and Brandon Carter for his invention of black holes. He also made a “no-hair theorem” which is based on the creation of black holes.
In 1973 he started the studies of quantum gravity. He becomes a great scientist and in the year 1974, he shows the emit radiation of black holes. This radiation is now known as the “Hawking radiations”. He got selected in Fellow the Royal Society (FRS). In the same year 1974, he becomes the professor of the California Institute of Technology.
In the year 1975, he becomes a reader of gravity physics at Cambridge University. He always becomes part of interviews for his research on black holes. After some year Stephen becomes the Lucasian Professor for mathematics at the University of Cambridge. After that in the year 1981, he comes to know that black holes evaporate Coninuosly it will be lost. They start a debate on the black hole war with Leonard Susskind and Gerard ‘t Hooft.
Hawking and his friend Gary Gibbons organized a Nuffield Workshop in 1982 at Cambridge University. He writes so many popular books based n science and the universe.
